The RRB NTPC Examination is one of the most credible opportunities for government job seekers. There are mainly four stages in the RRB NTPC Selection Process 2020. The pattern of the examinations and the stages vary depending upon the posts. The selection process is the most Important Phase of RRB NTPC Exam. The final result is declared depending upon the cumulative performances of the candidates in various tests.

Step 1: Filling Up the Application Form
The first step for appearing for the RRB NTPC Examination is submitting the application form. The candidates are required to submit the form in online mode after payment of the applicable application fees.
Step 2: Stage 1 CBT
Irrespective of the posts, every candidate must sit for the Stage 1 Computer Based Test (CBT ). It is a 90-minute test divided into three different sections. These are Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. The Stage 1 CBT is a 100 marks exam. The marks obtained at this stage will determine the eligibility of the candidate for Stage 2. The candidate must obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each sectionally and in aggregate to make it to the next stage.
Step 3: Stage 2 CBT
Based on the first stage of CBT's merit list, candidates equal to 20 times the number of total vacancies are shortlisted to take the Stage 2 CBT. The exam pattern for Stage 1 CBT is the same as Stage 1 CBT. Even though it is a 120 marks test, it is a 90-minute test. Only After qualifying for this test, the selected candidates will get a call for the next exam as per the posts they have applied for.
Step 4: Skill Test
The Skill Test is the fourth step of the RRB NTPC Selection Process 2020. This is held as per the merit list of the Stage 2 CBT, and the number of selected candidates is 8 times the vacancies available. There are two types of tests according to the different posts. They are, namely, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test (TST).
Step 5: Document Verification
Only the candidates qualifying the Stage 2 CBT and CBAT/TST will be called for the verification of the required documents. However, the final appointment will be made after passing the Medical Fitness Test.
Step 6: Medical Examination
Every selected candidate has to pass through the medical examination test which is the last yet crucial step of the RRB NTPC Selection Process 2020. But every candidate must know that the RRBs only suggest the names of impanelled candidates. However, the appointment is offered by the respective RRBs.
