Examination Fees for IB ACIO 2020 Exam
The examination fee involves two components which are the examination fee is Rs 100 and recruitment processing charges of Rs 500. Candidates have to bear the additional banking charges (if applicable). The below table enlists the category-wise examination fee and recruitment processing charges:

Education Qualification
Essential Qualification: Candidates applying for IB ACIO must possess a Graduate or equivalent degree from any government recognized university in order to appear for the MHA ACIO recruitment exam.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer
Age Limit & Age Relaxation
Lower Age Limit: 18 years
Upper Age Limit: 27 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for IB ACIO candidates is 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Pay Scale
The pay matrix is as per the Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
Note:
(i) Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other Govt. allowances.
(ii) Cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
IB ACIO 2020 Selection Process
The Intelligence Bureau ACIO Selection Process 2020 is divided mainly into three parts:
- Tier 1 Exam
- Tier 2 Exam
- Interview
MHA ACIO Tier 1 exam is basically an online objective type MCQ based exam. The candidates who will clear the Tier 1 exam, will then appear for the MHA ACIO Tier 2 exam. Tier 2 is descriptive in nature and to pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks (as per the rule). Based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam performances, candidates will be called for an interview for the final round of selection.

The Intelligence Bureau ACIO Recruitment 2020 posts are subjected to All India Service Liability. Please note that AISL is All India Service Liability, which means Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.
Intelligence Bureau ACIO 2020 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The MHA ACIO Exam will be going to take place in two parts. There will be 100 questions, each containing 1 marks in Tier 1 Exam. Please note that for each wrong answer in Tier 1 exam there will be a negative marking of ¼ marks. So, please be careful while attempting the questions.
