Can A BSc Student Take the GATE Exam 2024?
Yes, a BSc student can take the GATE exam in 2024. GATE requires a graduate certificate to be eligible to fill out the application form. If a candidate is in the final year (or third year of any undergraduate degree), then GATE conducting authority will provide a form on GATE 2024 official website, which should get signed by your department head or college director. The form should be scanned and uploaded to the GATE GOAPS login portal along with the application form.
- The minimum qualification for applicants to appear for the GATE 2024 exam is 10+2+3, i.e., as per the new notification released by IIT Bombay the previous year. Students in the third year or higher or who have already finished their undergraduate studies can also register for the GATE examination.
- Before GATE 2021, applicants were permitted to apply for only one subject or discipline. But, from 2021 onwards, candidates can go for two papers from the recommended structure of combinations of papers.
- Graduated arts, commerce, and science students in relevant disciplines are eligible applicants.
- There is no attempt limit to applying for the GATE examination, but candidates must meet professional eligibility conditions.
