Coming to the point, SSC protest has been in the news quite a lot. We, as your gradeup mentors, strongly believe that there should be a crystal clear selection procedure & the whole process needs to be revamped with more transparency in each step of the process. Talking about SSC recruitment process, there are many concerns/ demands buzzing in the minds of the aspirants. The most important ones are:
- Change of SSC exam vendor
- Normalisation of marks in SSC exams
- Enquiry on other exams like SSC MTS, SSC CHSL etc
- With every exam the dates keep shifting, the exams for 2017 are conducted in 2018 (like the CHSL Tier 1). The subsequent phases are delayed at least once or twice.
- Most people who appeared for the exam in 2016 are yet to receive their joining dates. What is the point of recruiting in 2016 when the joining will not come till 2018? Are students just supposed to wait for 2-3 years just for their joining? What does the SSC expect them to do till then? If the UPSC can manage a combined induction for all its officers, why can’t SSC which recruits so many more officers every year?
This is the need of the hour and the SSC will do itself a favour by making the required changes. It has been in the news that teachers from all over the country are joining the protest tomorrow. To support this, Gradeup will also be present there outside the Staff Selection Commission office, CGO Complex, Delhi. We will be present there tomorrow and will stand by you for your better future. Please remember that we want a non-violent protest & are against the crook methods.
