Job Description

SI in Delhi Police

       Maintenance of law and order in Delhi

SI in BSF

• Protection of the border between India & Pakistan
• The department is also responsible for promoting the sense of security among the citizens and prevents trans-border crimes and assists in the control of refugees

SI in CISF

• Provides security to various PSU’s and other important infrastructures
• The department is also responsible for protecting government infrastructure projects and industrial units

SI in CRPF

       Anti-Riot & Anti-Naxal force 

SI in ITBPF

• Protection of India-China border (Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh) 
• It also promotes sense of security among citizens by providing security at northern borders and counteracts trans-border smuggling, anti-national activities and illegal immigration

SI in SSB

• Protection of Indo – Nepal & Indo – Bhutan borders
• The department also prevents cross-border crimes, smuggling and anti-national activities

ASI in CISF

• Provides security to various PSU’s/ Airports/ Metro and other important infrastructures
• The department also has the onerous of protecting the government infrastructure projects and industrial units
