As per the candidates who have attempted the exam, the overall level of the first shift was in the range of easy to moderate. Here are a few highlights regarding the questions that were asked in the shift 1 of SSC CHSL Exam on 4 August 2021:

  • Reasoning section was a bit tricky than expected specially finding pattern and finding number questions
  • Quant Section was easy but a bit calculative
  • English section was easy. 
  • Vocabulary Questions were repeated easy to solve
  • In general awareness, 6 - 8 questions were asked from Current affairs, 4 - 5 from static GK
  • Difficulty order of section was: Reasoning>Quant>General Awareness> English

SSC CHSL 2021 Exam Analysis 4th August 2021: Exam Centre Guidelines

  • Candidates need to wear a mask during the examination
  • Candidates should carry their own hand sanitizer (50 ml), transparent water bottle, a simple pen inside the exam centre
  • Candidates should have installed Aarogya Setu app on their smartphone and the app must show their risk profile for COVID 19
  • The registration of the candidate will be done with photo capture; hence, candidates have to remove their mask only at that moment
  • There will be separate drop box for rough sheets and call letters, candidates have to drop these in the designate boxes

Overall, Quant section was of moderate level. Quant section was easy but calculative. In DI, on Pie Char 2 questions and on bar graph 1 question was asked. Arithmetic and trigonometry questions were easy. A good number of attempts for quant section can be considered as 18 - 20.
