SSC CHSL 2016- Tier I Exam Analysis 10th January (First Shift)

Today marks the fourth day, 10th January, for SSC CHSL Tier I Exam. The exam is being conducted for the recruitments for the posts of LDC, DEO, Postal Assistant and Court Clerk, through this exam.

Beginning from this session, SSC has changed the mode of examination to online instead of pen and paper. Starting from today, the online exam will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift now being over, we are here providing you with an analysis for the exam to help you better your preparation level. This review has been collated from you readers and aspirants only to give you a more accurate overview of the current paper scheme and the questions and further help other candidates. The level for the exam today remained moderate.

General Intelligence & Reasoning 

With questions from topics spanning nearly all of the topics, the paper maintained an overall easy level. The questions asked followed the previous patterns only, without any new type of question.  We enlist below the topics and the difficulty level associated with the questions.

Overall level for this section again remained moderate for a majority of the aspirants.

  2. Find total surface area of hollow cylinder whose outer and inner radius is 7 n 6 cm and its height is 22 cm.
  3. A man sold a piece of land for Rs.51 lakh and bears some loss. If he had sold for Rs. 60 lakh profit would be 8 times the loss. Find the CP?
  4. At 12℅ rate of interest, difference of SI and CI is 72. Hence, find the principal sum.
  5. A does 75% work in 50 days after which B joins in and they both finish the rest of the work in 10 days. How many days will B take to do the work alone?

English Comprehension

The level of this section remained Easy for most of the candidates. With commonly used phrases and without any much difficult vocabulary, the section was a walk in the park for many.

Key Point: The paper level although remained same as yesterday. However, the aspirants are advised to continually improve the level of GK, from here on the GradeUp App as the level of questions have been rising gradually.

Note: The level of the exam of the first shift was easy. An overall good attempt will be 80+.
