Post Circle Preference of Inspector Selected Through SSC CGL 2018 Exam: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) board on June 03, 2021, has released a notification for the SSC CGL 2018 qualified candidates. As per the notification, candidates who are selected for the post of Inspector in the Department of Posts can now fill their preference for the post circle. The board specified that the last date to send the preference order for the post circle will be June 15, 2021.

According to the previous result notification, 69 candidates out of a total of 11,105 selected candidates had qualified for the post of Inspector in the Department of Posts. The selected candidates can select the post circle order out of 17 post circles and later take charge with the post of Inspector.

Steps to Give Preference Order for SSC CGL Postal Inspector

Selected candidates should first mention their post circle preference and then send the hard copy to the Assistant Director General, Department of Posts. Candidates must note that it is compulsory to choose all the 17 post circles as per their preference order. In addition to the post circle preference, candidates have to also mention their name, father’s name, roll number, CGL 2018 rank, mobile and a valid email id.
Candidates can also send the post circle preference letter through email by mailing the signed copy at sospb2dakbhawan@gmail.com. Also, do not forget to mention the roll number and name in the subject section of the email.

SSC CGL Post Circle Preference: Key Points

  • Candidates need to submit their option in the required format as mentioned in the official notice of SSC
  • Candidates must choose the post circle as their preference where the vacancy actually exists
  • Selected candidates should compulsorily send their preference order on or before the last date mentioned earlier (15th June 2021). If the candidates fail to send or mail the preference order then he/ she will be allotted the postal circle as per the allocation criteria
  • The preference filled by the candidate will be considered final and no further changes will be allowed
