SSC CGL Notification: Major Changes Introduced
Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations. This means candidates who will clear SSC CGL Tier I will be eligible to appear for Tier II & Tier III as well.
SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2019
Let us now check whether you are eligible to fill SSC CGL online application form or not. Basically, there are two important eligibility criteria i.e. Educational Qualification and Age Limit.
SSC CGL Educational Qualification
As per SSC CGL official notification, candidates must possess the following educational qualification to be eligible for SSC CGL 2019 Exam on or before 1st January 2020.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government on or before 01.01.2020
Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO)
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Statistical Investigator Grade-II
Graduation in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.
All Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
Note: Those candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply but they must possess their degree on or before 01st August 2018.
SSC CGL Age Criteria 2019
There is a different age criterion for all the posts mentioned in official SSC CGL Notification 2019. Minimum age of the Candidate should be 18 years and Maximum age 30 years as on 01.01.2020.
For the post of JSO, the maximum age limit is 32 Years
