SSC CGL Exam Analysis 4 June 2019: Today is the first day of the SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 exam and it is time to analyse the 2nd shift of SSC CGL Exam. The examination is scheduled to be conducted from June 3, 2019 to June 19, 2019 in three shifts. We have already discussed the first shift in the analysis and now it is time to share a quick review of the 2nd shift with all of you. The 2nd shift of the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam started at 1:00 PM and ended at 2:00 PM. We have been informed by our resources that the paper was 'Moderate to Difficult'. The questions were of the same level as appeared in today's first shift.

Let us move forward and begin with the second shift analysis to know about the level of the questions asked. We will also be sharing with you the actual questions that appeared in today's exam at the bottom of the article.
SSC CGL Exam Analysis 4 June 2019 Shift 2
- The examination consisted of 100 questions bearing 2 marks and a negative marking of 0.50 marks.
- The arrangement of sections was in the order: Reasoning > GK > Quantitative Aptitude > English.
- Maths section was hard and calculative. DI was Easy to moderate.
- English section was relatively easy.
- Reasoning section was moderate. 'No questions' from Word formation, Distance-Direction and Matrix appeared this time.
- Questions based on Art & Culture were asked. '3-5 questions' from Current affairs were asked.
- Cloze Test was asked in English Section based on the topic 'Italian Mayor'.
- Gk section was Hard. Ancient History questions were asked which fell in the range of Moderate to Difficult.
- Level of difficulty was in the order- Maths> GK> Reasoning > English.
- Overall the examination fell in the range of 'Moderate to Difficult .'

Takeaways from SSC CGL Tier 1 2018 Exam
- We advise you to work on your calculation skills as the Maths section is time-consuming. Do not forget to revise formulas and theorems as certain questions that do not require a pen to be raised were asked in the examination.
- English Section is very scoring this time. Start with English Section first and then move on with your strong areas.
- Save enough time for Maths. Do not attempt Geometry Questions if you are not confident enough instead attempt simple arithmetic questions first.
- Practice questions from Number series and Alphanumeric series before appearing for the exam.
- Do not start with Quantitative Section first as it may be time-consuming.
- We advise you to lay more stress on Art & Culture and Miscellaneous GK as lots of questions appeared in today's exam from this month.
- Go through Basic Grammar rules for English Section.
- Do not lose your confidence if you come across certain tricky questions, instead, 'skip' such questions.
