MISUSES OF THE SAVIOUR- THE INTERNET

“The Internet is becoming the town square for the global village of tomorrow”, said Bill Gates. Although the world is just a click away, we have become a victim of our disparaging best friend ‘The Internet’. While its benefits can’t be denied, the malevolence of the Internet is neither under the wraps anymore.

It has become a fashion to have an endless friend list on our social accounts so much so that we fail to see that it is the most precarious thing about the web. For once if you become a target of any fraudulence you might have to pay for it your entire lifetime. According to various reports, the cyber menace has become one of the leading cause of rising psychological disturbances. Purloining people off their assets through hacking is yet another torment. ‘Piracy is a crime’ is promoted everywhere but the promotion of a mere slogan is just not sufficient to put an end to bootlegging. The Internet though is a time saver but no one can deny the squandering it makes one do due to bogus publicity. Thanks to the internet and its unsolicited mails, we have viruses to add to our worry. Exposure to irrelevant and negative stuff like pornography, terrorism evoking information, etc. is a rising cause of concern worldwide. Moreover, the Internet is easily accessible so the pranksters seek pleasure through this platform too.

But if God’s creation, Man is not perfect then how can we expect man’s creation ‘internet’ to be? We tend to neglect the fact that the world-wide web has been knitted so intricately that we just can’t escape. But it’s always better to be precautious than having to repent later. Lets’ not turn our friend into a foe.

Important things to keep in mind:

As discussed, the above sample has been divided into three paragraphs per the expected word count.

  • First paragraph- Highlight the argument, begin with related quotes or stats
  • Second paragraph- Examples supporting argument, transitional words
  • Third paragraph- Persuasive conclusion
  • Vocabulary of varying complexity to be used.
  • Always draft a rough sketch of the points you wish to write so that you make a proper sequence and do not miss out on any important information.
  • Read a lot so that you have sufficient stuff to write.

The content is just for your reference and not mugging up. There might be slight increase or decrease in the word limit because we are not giving you the exact content to be copied for the exam. It is your skill to pick up the necessary points and frame them per the need of the question. The topics are general so they can be shuffled for letters, essays as well as precis.

Hope this helps. Keep following for more help.

Thanks
