RRB NTPC Refund: The last date to apply for RRB NTPC exam fee refund is over on 7 September 2021. The candidates who had appeared for the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam could get RRB refund amount by entering their correct bank details. RRB had extended the deadline to apply for RRB NTPC Refund and Updation of Bank details to 7th September 2021. RRB earlier had released the notice regarding the refund of RRB NTPC Examination fees for the candidates who appeared for RRB NTPC CBT-1 held from 28.12.2020 to 31.07.2021 in 7 (seven) Phases. Candidates can also update their bank details which might have been changed during the time of 2 years of process to get the refund. RRB NTPC Refund 

The Railway Recruitment Board had released the recruitment notification for non-technical popular categories (NTPC) for advt. no. NTPC CEN 01/2019. The written exam for the RRB NTPC CBT 1 was held from 28 December 2020 to 31 July 2021 in seven phases. 

After the completion of CBT 1, RRB released a notification for the RRB NTPC refund of application fee that was paid by the candidates while filling up the online form. The application fee of those candidates was refunded to their bank accounts who had appeared for the RRB NTPC stage 1 exam, i.e. CBT 1. The candidates were to update/verify their bank account details from 11 August 2021 to 7 September 2021 (revised).

Candidates who had appeared for RRB NTPC CBT -1 can apply for the refund of examination fees (after deducting the applicable bank charges) as per the category they belong to. Here is RRB refund amount for each category:

Updation of Bank Account Details for RRB NTPC Refund

Candidates can also update their bank details provided at the time of filling the RRB NTPC Application form 2 years back. As mentioned in the notice, it was found that a high number of payments were made from the same account number, and many applicants' bank account information was not accessible. Furthermore, certain banks' IFSC codes may have been altered as a result of recent mergers. As a result, it is essential to validate and get new data of applicants' bank accounts in order to pay the reimbursement to the proper beneficiaries.

Considering all the factors, candidates can now provide their updated bank details to get the refund of RRB NTPC refund.

  • Fill in your registered email id and mobile number to provide their correct Bank Account Details.
  • An Update Bank Account Link will be active on the official websites of RRBs which from 11 Aug 2021, 10:00 AM. to 7 Sept 2021, 23:59 PM.
  • SMS and Email will also be sent to these candidates who appeared for RRB NTPC CBT -1.
  • One help menu will be provided to get any clarification or help in case of any trouble while submitting the bank details.

Points to Keep in Mind While Updating Bank Account Details for RRB NTPC Fee Refund

  • Last date for submission of bank details: 7 Sept 2021 (23:59 hrs).
  • No refund will be given if a candidate fails to submit the Bank account details as above.
  • ONLY ONE REFUND PER BANK ACCOUNT WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • Candidates are requested to ensure that the Bank Account Number, Name and IFSC Code entered are correct and check it carefully before submitting.
  • Any modification of bank details after submission will not be possible.
  • This is a one-time process that will not be repeated. RRB refund amount will only be credited once.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the RRB official site.
