RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 5th January 2021 (All Shifts): Exam Review, Questions, Difficulty Level

RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 5th January 2021: Today is the fifth day of RRB NTPC Exam and we are here with the in-depth analysis of the exam. The exam was more difficult than the previous shifts conducted on previous days. The difficulty level was prominent in maths as well as in the general awareness/general science section of the RRB NTPC exam. In this blog, we will update the analysis for both the shifts.

This exam analysis will give you a fair conception regarding the type of questions asked, difficulty level, expected cut off, topic-wise questions, and a number of good attempts.

The board is conducting the RRB NTPC CBT-1 CEN 01/2019 examination to fill 35,281 vacancies in various departments of Railway through different posts. The posts include Junior Timekeeper, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Station Master, Commercial Apprentice, etc.

Before going ahead to the RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 2021, let us take a look at the exam pattern of CBT-1 stage:

RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 5th January 2021 (All Shifts): Main Highlights & Takeaways

We have collated some important highlights of both the shifts of RRB NTPC exam conducted on 5th January 2021: 

  • 100 Questions were asked which were divided into 30 Reasoning, 30 Maths, 40 General awareness questions.
  • Each question carried 1 mark and there was a negative marking of 0.33 marks.
  • More questions from History were seen. There were no major changes.
  • First in Nobel prize, important days, important monuments, important appointments were asked in the static Gk part. 
  • As per the feedback received by the students, the paper was difficult in comparison to the papers held in previous shifts.
  • In current affairs section most of the questions were asked from last 12-14 months.
  • No question from History appeared in the second shift
  • Questions from 2019 events were also seen. As such the questions from all the sections was doable and moderate.
  • Some questions were repeated from SSC previous year papers.
  • As per most of the candidates the difficulty level of the sections were in this order: Mathematics> General Awareness> General Intelligence & Reasoning

RRB NTPC CBT-1 Exam Centre Guidelines

Candidates who have an impending exam in the upcoming shifts and phases of RRB NTPC 2020-21 Examination should follow the guidelines as listed below: 

  • You need to wear a mask all through the examination
  • You will be provided with hand sanitiser and pen, hence, you do not need to carry such things
  • You must have filled the COVID-19 self-declaration form
  • The registration of the candidate will be done with photo capture; therefore, you need to remove your mask only at that moment
  • There will be a separate dropbox for rough sheets and call letters, you must drop the rough sheets in the designated boxes
