Quant Booster on Time and Distance for SSC Exam

Here we are providing the about booster on the Time and Distance  for SSC CGL Tier 2. This is one of the most important chapters of the  Quant section and usually , covers 2 to 3 questions in mains exam. This chapter is based on the concept of speed. Here we will discuss some questions which are important for the SSC CGL Tier II. If you practice these questions then you will get sure benefit in mains exam.

1. A person covers a certain distance at the speed of 60km/hr and returns at the speed of 40km/hr. Find the average speed of the person for the whole journey.

Answer: 48km/hr

2. A boy goes to his school from his house at a speed of 3 km/hr and returns at a speed of 2 km/hr. If he takes 5 hours in going and coming the distance between his house and school is:

Answer: 6km

3. A bus running at a speed of 30km/hr leaves Noida at 10 am and another bus running at a speed of 40km/hr leaves the same place at 3pm in the same direction. How many kilometers from the Noida will they meet together

4. A person starts by a car from Delhi to Jaipur and at the same time another person starts from Jaipur by a car to Delhi.
