Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT) on 26th June 2021 announced the recruitment notification for various ‘Non-Teaching’ posts under Group B and Group C categories. A total of 126 vacancies are released for multiple posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Assistant Store Keeper, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Junior Stenographer, Library Assistant, Junior Mechanic, Technical Assistant, Head Clerk, Senior Technical Assistant, and Junior Programmer.

NSUT which was formerly known by Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is the hub for higher technical education in Delhi. The main campus of the University is located at Azad Hind Fauj, Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi whereas it has two other campuses namely West Campus and East Campus are located in Jaffarpur, Najafgarh, and Geeta Colony, respectively.

NSUT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be a citizen of India and fulfil the below educational qualification, age limit, experience by June 01, 2021:

Skill Test Norms:

Must have a minimum of 35 WPM typing speed on Computer

Dictation: 10 minutes with a minimum 80 WPM

Upper Division Clerk

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized board/ university

Typing speed of a minimum of 35 WPM on computer

Library Assistant

BA/ BSc/ BCom with a certificate in Library Science from a recognized Institute or University along with knowledge of computer

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences along with working knowledge of Computer

OR

Diploma in Library Science with minimum 2 years full-time experience in Library management along with working knowledge of Computers

Junior Mechanic

For Engineering Department:

Relevant ITI certificate along with 2 years of experience in the pertinent field

Degree/ Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate field

Head Clerk

Graduation degree from a recognized university

Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM in English on Computer

Knowledge of basic computer software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

NSUT 2021 Selection Process

  • For ‘Non-Teaching’ posts in NSUT, candidates will be selected based on scores of Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Skill Tests/ Laboratory Practical Tests, and Interviews (whatsoever applicable). The CBE will be both English and Hindi
  • For Group ‘C’ post, 75% weightage will be allotted for CBE and 25% weightage will be assigned for Skill Test/ Laboratory Practical Test
  • For Group ‘B’ post, 50% weightage will be given for CBE, 25% weightage for Skill Test and 25% weightage for Interview
  • There is a minimum qualifying score of 50% for General (UR)/ EWS/ OBC candidates and 45% for ST/ SC/ PWD candidates
  • Candidates who are not able to secure the minimum qualifying marks will be treated as ‘not suitable for selection’

Candidates to apply for NSUT ‘Non-Teaching’ posts, needs to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NSUT viz. nsit.ac.in

Step 2: Once the main page opens, click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab

Step 3: After the recruitment page opens, click on the ‘Advertisement for Non-Teaching Positions’

Step 4: Once you have checked the online advertisement, click on the ‘Apply Online’ button

Step 5: On the apply online tab, first register yourself by feeding the important details such as name, mobile number, and e-mail id

Step 6: Fill up the application form and upload your photograph and signature within the size of 100 KB in JPEG/ JPG format

  • A. The application fees for General candidates is Rs 1000 for Group B posts in NSUT Exam.
