IES Exam Centers Allocation
The authorities determine the final allocation of seats. The seats are assigned based on a first-come-first basis. Thus the students are instructed to fill up the application form as soon as possible. All the IES exam centers, excluding Nagpur, Dispur, Chennai, and Kolkata, have limited seats.
Thus they are frozen after the seats are loaded. Once the center is frozen, the aspirants are given a second chance to choose another center. The candidates have to be very meticulous while choosing the exam center. They won't be permitted to change their preference except in the restricted number of seats.
