Reserve Bank of India has officially released the RBI Office Assistant syllabus and the exam pattern. There will be two rounds in the recruitment process. The first round consists of an online objective test with the syllabus of Reasoning, Quant, English, and General Awareness for the RBI Office Attendant exam. This is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify in each section and overall to be eligible for the LPT round.

Details of Online Objective Exam of RBI Office Attendant:
- Online tests of all the sections excluding General English will be bilingual, i.e. conducted in English as well as Hindi.
- A negative marking of 1/4th marks will be applicable for each wrong answer.
- Candidates will have to clear each subject of the online test with minimum prescribed marks, which will be decided by the bank.
Language Proficiency Test
The candidates must pass the language proficiency test to be able to get through the selection process. Get through the exam pattern of the RBI Assistant language proficiency test and prepare a strategy for this stage of the selection process.
- The Language Proficiency Test of the RBI Office Attendant exam will be qualifying in nature.
- Language Proficiency Test will be conducted in the official/ local language of the state from which the candidate is applying.
- Candidates who fail to clear the Language Proficiency Test will be disqualified.
This test will be conducted for those who are planning to apply from a different state/UT. They must be proficient in the local language (Reading, Writing, Speaking). This LPT round would be conducted for only those candidates who will qualify for the online test round. Candidates will be given provisional allotment only after clearing both rounds.
