LIC AAO AE Syllabus 2022
LIC AAO Syllabus 2022 is released and set by Life Insurance Corporation. LIC conducts the LIC AAO Exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer. The LIC AAO Syllabus includes a syllabus for both LIC AAO Prelims Exam and LIC AAO Mains Exam.
Candidates who wish to qualify the LIC AAO Exam must be very clear about the syllabus and the topics asked in the LIC AAO Exam. Also, understand the LIC AAO Exam Pattern to comprehend the syllabus in a better manner.

LIC AAO AE Prelims Exam Pattern 2022
A preliminary Examination consisting of an objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

** English Language Test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for the selection in the Main examination.
Note: Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category released, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for the LIC AAO and LIC AE Main examination.
LIC AAO & LIC AE Mains Exam Pattern 2022
There will be a total of 120 questions in the mains examination carrying a weightage of 300 marks. A descriptive test of 25 marks will also be conducted just after the mains objective test. There will be separate timing for the objective test in each section. Candidates will require to answer the descriptive test by typing on the computer keyboard.

** Descriptive test of English Language Test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for ranking.
Important points
- Students need to obtain minimum qualifying marks in each section separately and also obtain the minimum aggregate marks in both prelims and mains examination which will be decided by the LIC organization only.
- Descriptive test of only those aspirants will be evaluated who will pass the objective test of the mains examination.
- Responses submitted by each candidate will be crossed checked to detect the similarity in the answers marked.

Data Analysis and Interpretation Syllabus (for Generalist post)
This section will comprise of Data interpretation questions which mostly will be from below mentioned topics -
- Pie chart (single/double)
- Tabular graph
- Line graph
- Radar chart
- Number Series
- Quadratic Equations
- Caselet/ Paragraph DI
- Bar graph
- Mixed graphs (a combination of any 2 of the above)
- Missing graphs and tables
Apart from this, the following questions might be asked-
- Data Sufficiency(2/3 statements)
- Arithmetic section
- Quantity comparison-based problems.
General Awareness & Current Affairs Syllabus 2022
This section would consist of questions from the following topics -
