IBPS RRB Age Limit Criteria

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
  • Between 18 years and 28 years.
  • Candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1992 and later than 01.07.2002 (both dates are inclusive)
Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
  • Above 18 years - Below 30 years.
  • Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1990 and later than 30.06.2002 (both dates are inclusive)
Officer Scale-II (Manager)
  • Above 21 years - Below 32 years.
  • Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1988 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates are inclusive)
Officer Scale III (Senior Manager)
  • Above 21 years - Below 40 years.
  • Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1980 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates are inclusive)

IBPS RRB Eligibility- Age Relaxation

Candidates belonging to certain reserved categories are provided with age relaxation on the upper age limit. You can check the categories that are permitted for seeking age relaxation. Candidates can seek age relaxation for the above-mentioned limits, subject to the following -

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification

The candidates must be fulfilling and satisfy the prescribed educational qualification in accordance with the IBPS RRB eligibility criteria. IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

  • The Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or its equivalent as on the above-mentioned date.
  • He/ She should also be proficient in the local language of the state from which they are applying.
  • Proper knowledge of computer skills is also desirable.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):

  • As on the above-mentioned date, the candidate should have a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent in any discipline.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
  • Proficiency in the local vernacular of the participating RRB is also required.
  • Computer knowledge will be the desired qualification.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer) (Manager)-

  • Candidates should have a degree in any discipline from an acknowledged university, with a minimum 50% aggregate marks as on the above-mentioned date.
  • Candidates who have a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference.
  • Candidates should also have Work Experience of a total of two years as an officer in a Banking or Financial Institution.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2022- Exam Language Proficiency

An extension of the period of 6 months from the day of joining will be given to the candidates, who do not possess the required language proficiency, to gain proficiency in the local language of the concerned RRB.
