RBI Office Assistant Selection Process 2021: Having prior knowledge of the selection process for Office Attendant helps you to prepare for the exam well in advance for the appointment. The selection for RBI Office Attendant is mainly done in two stages, online test and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

RBI Office Attendant Selection Stages

The Selection Process for RBI Office Attendant 2021 is a two-stage process. The first stage is the Online Test while the second stage is the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). 

  • All the candidates who have applied for RBI Office Attendant 2021 will be issued a call letter to take the online test.
  • Candidates who will obtain the minimum cutoff marks in the online test will be called to appear for the Language Proficiency Test.
  • Each section of the RBI Office Attendant online test will have a sectional cutoff and an overall cutoff.
  • The result of the online test will be declared in April or May 2021 on rbi.org.in

  • Candidates qualifying the Online test will then be called for the LPT, which is mandatory.
  • However, LPT for RBI Office Attendant is qualifying in nature.

RBI Office Attendant Selection Procedure for Online Test

The selection process for the first stage of the recruitment process for the RBI Office Attendant is given below. You must secure minimum cut-off marks in each section as well as obtain an overall cutoff score in the online test for RBI Office Attendant to appear for the next round which is the Language Proficiency Test.

  • The RBI Office Attendant online test will have 4 sections.
  • Each section of the RBI Office Attendant is for 30 marks with 30 questions in each section.
  • All the questions are Multiple-choice questions.
  • The total duration of the test is 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
  • The online test except for the test of General English will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
  • There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for the wrong answers in the Online Test.

RBI Office Attendant Selection Process for Language Proficiency Test

All the candidates who will secure the cutoff marks in the online test of the RBI office Attendant will be called to appear for the last stage of the recruitment process which is the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

  • The LPT for RBI Office Attendant is qualifying in nature.
  • The LPT will be conducted in the 12 local languages of the state concerned for every shortlisted candidate.

Candidates who fail to qualify for the LPT shall not be considered for selection.
