LIC AAO Mains Exam Review 2019: English Language (Descriptive Test)
English Language test was of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for the merit list.
- The total marks assigned for this section is 25 marks with a time limit of 30 minutes.
- Minimum qualifying marks is 10.
The section was divided into two parts -
1. Letter Writing - Candidates has to write a letter in any one of the given topics (150 words)
(i) Write a letter to an insurance firm requesting them to change the residential address.
(ii) Write a letter to your boss describing the value of group insurance.
(iii) Write a letter to your younger brother who recently got a job telling him about the importance of retirement pension.
2. Essay - Candidates has to write an essay in any one of the given topics. (200 words)

(ii) Views of Financial Market? Explain the elements of financial security.
(iii) Which is better between Mutual Fund or Insurance? Which one do you prefer for investment?
