TNPSC age limit is an important parameter required to be fulfilled to appear in the TNPSC exams. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducts a variety of examinations in the state throughout the whole year. It conducts these examinations under various groups such as Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, and Group 4.
The different TNPSC exams are conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the State Civil Services in Tamil Nadu. The various Groups 1-4 have posts on different levels for which the candidates are required to follow the TNPSC age limit. The age criteria will vary for different posts.

TNPSC Eligibility 2023
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is the conducting body for all the recruitment drives held for TNPSC Groups 1,2,3, & 4. It is important for all interested candidates to first check the TNPSC eligibility specified for all the posts that come under these groups. Accordingly, they can apply for their desired posts as per their eligibility.
The TNPSC eligibility criteria include various parameters such as the TNPSC age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. Candidates are selected for coveted posts in the Tamil Nadu administrative services based on their marks scored in the online/offline exams followed by an interview.
TNPSC Age Limit 2023
A very significant aspect of the Tamil Nadu PCS recruitment process is the TNPSC age limit. All the applicants need to follow the age criteria failing which may lead to disqualification in the future. The age limit varies as per the posts listed in the specified Group. All aspirants must know that they should fall within the minimum and maximum age bracket to be eligible for the recruitment process. The maximum TNPSC age limit for Groups 1-4 ranges from 30 to 42 years. The age varies for different kinds of posts in a single group as well. A special provision of age relaxation is also provided for the reserved category of candidates in all the TNPSC exams.

The TNPSC Group 1 exam is held to recruit candidates for the posts of Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Director of Rural Development, etc. These are all highly coveted posts that come along with great career opportunities and lucrative packages. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must ensure they conform to the important eligibility criteria such as the TNPSC Group 1 age limit and educational qualification.
The TNPSC age limit for Group 1 varies as per the different posts. Candidates will have to carefully check the entire eligibility criteria so that they do not miss out on any important detail. As far as the educational qualification is concerned, candidates are required to be graduates in the concerned discipline & also possess knowledge of the Tamil language.

TNPSC Group 2 Age Limit & Eligibility
The Group 2 exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission covers some other coveted Group 2 posts such as Sub-Registrar, Probation Officer, Junior Employment Officer, etc. These posts also come under the category of Group B posts under the Tamil Nadu government. Candidates need to ensure they follow the TNPSC Group 2 eligibility criteria including the age limit & educational qualification.
Note: The minimum age limit remains the same for all posts but the upper age limit may vary according to the job positions.

TNPSC Age Limit & Qualification for Group 3
Another important examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is the TNPSC Group 3 exam. This exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Junior Inspector of Cooperative Societies, Store-Keeper (Grade 2) in the Industries & Commerce Department, etc. Candidates should therefore be very careful while filling out the online application form and check the complete TNPSC Group 3 eligibility criteria, including the age limit & qualifications.
