HPSC HCS Eligibility 2022: Check Nationality, Age Limit, Qualification

HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria 2022

HPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria is set and released by Haryana Public Service Commission. Candidates who wish to apply for HCS (Ex. Br.) And Allied Services Examination must check the HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria 2022 before applying online. Below, you can check the HPSC Eligibility Criteria for appearing in the HPSC PCS Exam. The Haryana PCS Eligibility includes various parameters such as age limit, nationality, educational qualification, and physical requirement. 

HPSC HCS Eligibility: Nationality

For the HPSC HCS Examination, a candidate must be either:-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

HPSC Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent degree from a recognized University. The dates before which candidates should have completed their graduation will be provided in the HCS Notifications.

HPSC HCS Age Limit

The age limit for the Haryana PCS Exam is mentioned below. The age shall be calculated as on 01 Jan 2022

  • For the post of DSP: 18 to 27 Years
  • For all other posts other than DSP: 18 to 42 years

HPSC Age Relaxation

The relaxation in maximum age for various categories is available as under:

Equal to the period of experience on an Adhoc/ contract/ work-charged/ daily wages basis excluding the period of a break, if any, subject to attaining the maximum age of 55 years.

  • Candidate need to be a graduate and between the age bar of 18-42 years in order to apply for various posts under HPSC HCS recruitment.

  • For the post of DSP under HCS recruitment 2022, the age limit is 18-27 years.
