The PPSC Exam Pattern includes three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview. The PPSC Prelims exams are the first stage of recruitment for the process of selection. Candidates who have qualified in the prelims and scored well in the mains are called for the interview. The scores obtained in the interview are combined with the mains exam to give the final merit list. A candidate who scored less than 45% of the maximum marks will not be called for the interview. An extra 5% relaxation is given to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes’ category candidates, but it also includes a minimum of 25% marks in every paper.
