JKPSC KAS mains exam is going to conduct on 28 October 2022. Previously the commission released JKPSC KAS 2022 prelims result on 17 August 2022 and the prelims exam was conducted on July 31. JKPSC is the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam 2022 that is held annually by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission annually for eligible graduate candidates. 

The commission released the official KAS 2022 notification on 19 April 2022 to fulfill the total number of 220 KAS 2022 vacancies out of the total, 100 vacancies were notified for Jammu Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS). JKPSC KAS Latest Updates 2022

JKPSC KAS Mains result 2021-2022 has been declared by JKPSC on its website. The candidates who appeared for the Main exam 2021 held from 8 April to 18 April 2022 shall be appearing for the interview that is to be held from 5 December to 19 January 2023. JKPSC KAS (CCE) Recruitment 2022 Notification

JKPSC KAS 2022 notification has been officially released by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) along with the exam dates for the recruitment of Civil servants in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. JKPSC KAS exam shall be conducted in three stages, Prelims, Mains, and Interview. JKPSC KAS Mains is scheduled for 28 October 2022.

JKPSC KAS recruitment is one of the most sought-after career scopes for candidates residing in UT of J&K for which the selection process is similar to that of UPSC exam. JKPSC KAS Prelims consists of two papers, General Studies 1 and General Studies 2 for 200 marks each. On the other hand, the Mains exam shall have 8 (eight) conventional papers. What is JKPSC KAS Exam?

​JKPSC Prosecuting Officer exam is a state competitive exam conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) to recruit candidates to fufil 120 vacancies for Prosecuting Officer posts. The candidates are selected through a Preliminary, mains, and personality test. Aspirants who have completed their graduation degree and fall between 18 years to 40 years are eligible to apply online JKPSC exam 2022.

JKPSC has published JKPSC KAS Answer Key 2022 on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the KAS exam 2022 can download the official answer key here.   • You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university in India or a foreign university declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized university.
  • If you have appeared for your Bachelor’s Degree examination in 2022, then you must provide proof that you had fully appeared for the said examination on or before the last date of filling the JKPSC Application form 2022 for the Prelims. You should have also passed your Graduation at the time of filling up the JKPSC Mains Application form.

JKPSC KAS Selection Process 2022

Candidates should be well known with JKPSC selection process to be able to qualify for KAS Exam 2022. There are three main stages for the JKPSC KAS exam. You have to qualify for each stage in order to be appointed for the PO post. 

  1. JKPSC KAS Preliminary Examination
  2. JKPSC KAS Mains Examination
  3. JKPSC KAS Interview

The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and conducted for shortlisting of candidates for the next stage. The final selection is done through the marks obtained by the candidate in the Mains and Interview.

JKPSC KAS Prelims Exam Pattern

JKPSC KAS Prelims Exam is the first stage of the JKPSC selection process. You have to secure the minimum cutoff marks in the Prelims Exam of JKPSC 2022 to be called to appear for the Mains Exam. KAS Prelims Exam will have two papers: General Studies Paper- I and General Studies Paper-II.

  • It comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Both the Papers will be 200 marks each.
  • For each incorrect answer in the Exam, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks.
  • It is compulsory to score at least 33% in General Studies Paper-II.

JKPSC KAS Mains Exam Pattern

The candidates who obtain the cutoff marks in JKPSC KAS Prelims Exam will be called to take the JKPSC KAS Mains Exam. The qualified candidates of the Prelims Exam will be issued an application form that they will have to fill up within the required time decided by the Commission.

  • The JKPSC KAS Mains Exam 2022 shall comprise a written examination and a personality test.
  • It has eight (8) papers of conventional essay type.
  • Out of the eight mains paper, English Paper is qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates who will obtain the cutoff marks in JKPSC KAS Mains Exam will be called to appear for Interview.
  • The JKPSC Interview shall be of 250 marks

JKPSC KAS admit card 2022 is released by the exam conducting body JKPSC on its official website. Candidates who successfully pass JKPSC KAS prelims exam will be able to download JKPSC KAS mains admit card 2022 from the official website. Since admit card is released 120 days before the JKPSC KAS Exam 2022.

Steps to Download JKPSC KAS Admit Card

Candidates can download their JKPSC KAS admit card 2022 with the help of the following steps mentioned below:

  • Directly go to the official website of JKPSC.
  • On the home page click on the link to 'Download JKPSC KAS 2022 Admit Card'.
  • Read the instructions mentioned on the screen carefully and click on the ‘Yes’ button.
  • Enter the Registration ID or Roll Number followed by the Date of Birth of the candidate.
  • Enter the captcha in the given blank field and click on the submit button.
  • The final step is to download JKPSC KAS admit card 2022.

To download the JKPSC KAS admit card, you need to enter your valid registration number/User name and password/date of birth. JKPSC shall announce the JKPSC KAS Result 2022 on the official website a few days after the completion of exam. The commission releases  KAS Result 2022 for each stage of the examination, i.e. for Prelims, Mains, and the Final Result. The JKPSC Merit List consists of the names of those candidates who are selected for the document verification round. The result for JKPSC KAS 2022 will be available on JKPSC official website.

The final selection for the JKPSC is based on the marks obtained in the JKPSC Mains and Interview round. After the release of the final result for JKPSC exam, the candidates are allotted the service as per the marks.

  • Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Exam (CCE)  exam is conducted by JKPSC. The exam is conducted yearly to recruit candidates for various services announced under the KAS exam. The recruitment will be done through a Combined Competitive Exam, 2022. KAS officers work like the State PCS officers and they are only second to the IAS officers working in the state.

  • JKPSC KAS 2022 exam eligibility is prescribed by the JKPSC along with the official notification. The candidates are required to fulfil the age limit, domicile and qualification. Candidates willing to apply for JKPSC KAS must be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir, have passed Graduation, and must not have crossed 32 years.

  • JKPSC KAS 2022 form can be filled out only by visiting the official website of JKPSC from 26th April to 15th May 2022. You would need to register yourself first and obtain the registration number. Thereafter, you will have to complete the application form by entering your personal details, qualification, address, etc. Once you have filled the details, you need to upload the documents and pay the application fee to submit the JKPSC KAS application form successfully.

  • Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission prescribes the JKPSC KAS/CCE 2022 selection process that consists of three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview. The candidates must qualify each stage to be eligible to be appointed as KAS officers in the UT.  Prelims exam is objective in nature while Mains is subjective in nature.
