Answer – C. Both Analog and Digital
The Switch is an example of Both Analog and Digital.
Solution
Analog Switch:
An analogue switch’s typical MOSFET transistor pair has an N-channel and a P-channel device. Parallel n-channel/p-Channel FET Switch is the name of the device. The device shown below separates terminals when it is off and allows signals to flow in either direction when it is on. Devices are turned ON and OFF using control inputs with positive and negative voltages.
Digital Switch:
- Purpose: It is intended to transmit or receive digital signal signals.
Digital signals are used in digital switch operations. Examples include Texas Instrument’s CBT and CBTLV digital switches.
Additionally, it demonstrates the capacity to pass analog signals successfully. For multibit switching, digital switches are utilized in computing applications. Digital switches can be used for various things, such as multiplexing Ethernet and USB peripherals.
Hence, Option (C) is the correct answer.
