  • The JAIIB syllabus consists of the following 3 papers, each with several modules:

  • The exams will be held online, and each exam will have 120 multiple-choice questions, to be finished in 2 hours.
  • In order to clear JAIIB, a student should score a minimum of 50%. The candidate is allowed to score 45 marks on a paper if the aggregate total is above 50 (only if the marks are obtained in a single attempt)

JAIIB Eligibility Criteria

The members of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) can register for the Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of the Bankers Exam (JAIIB full form). To apply for JAIIB, candidates need to satisfy the following criteria:

  • Interested candidates should be a member of IIBF. If not, they can apply to be a member of IIBF, and after successful admission, they will be eligible to appear for the exam.
  • Candidates should have cleared the 12th standard board examination (irrespective of the stream).
  • If a candidate is a clerical bank employee and has not cleared the 12th board exams, the candidate can still appear for the JAIIB exam provided that they get a recommendation from their bank manager.

JAIIB Exam Pattern

Each of the compulsory JAIIB exams will include questions of the objective type. Each JAIIB paper consists of 100 questions that applicants must answer within the given 120 minutes. The JAIIB Exam Pattern has undergone significant alteration, and negative marking will be applied. Negative marking constitutes up to 25% of the marks provided for the relevant question.
