JAIIB Exam Pattern 2023

JAIIB exam pattern 2023 is officially prescribed by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) for the JAIIB exam. Candidates can check the topic-wise weightage of each subject and strategize their preparation for JAIIB 2023 exam. Therefore, it is very important to be abreast of the JAIIB exam pattern for all four papers.

The IIBF conducts the JAIIB exam twice a year. The exam is for the Junior Associate post at the Indian Institute of Bankers. Only those candidates who are existing employees of the Banking system are eligible for the exam. There are 4 papers in the JAIIB examination. Check the detailed JAIIB exam pattern mentioned below.

  • The exam has four papers i.e., Indian Economy & Indian Financial System, Principles & Practices of Banking, Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers, Retail Banking & Wealth Management.

JAIIB Exam Pattern - Marking Scheme

The JAIIB exam pattern will provide a vivid depiction of the exam, note the important topics and mark the essential subjects. The marking scheme of the JAIIB exam is a little bit different from other bank exams.

  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers,
  • Candidates have to score 50% marks on each paper.
  • If candidates secure at least 45% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in a single attempt, he/she will be declared qualified for the examination.
  • Each paper consists of 100 marks.

Candidates must take note of the time limit condition set by the IIBF for the JAIIB examination.
