JAIIB 2021 Exam Notification

Latest JAIIB Exam Date 2021 announced. IIBF has released the JAIIB exam date 2021on the official website. The JAIIB exam 2021 will be conducted on 08 January 2022, 09 January 2021 and 22 January 2021. JAIIB Exam 2021 is usually conducted once in May and the other in November 2021. This year May exam was postponed to August-September due to some administrative reasons. JAIIB Registration Date 2021

JAIIB has released the registration date for JAIIB Exam 2021. You can apply for JAIIB Exam only through online mode. You can appear for JAIIB 2021 exam either in May or November 2021 on www.iibf.org.in. Here are the important dates for JAIIB Exam 2021.

JAIIB Eligibility Criteria 2021

To appear for the JAIIB Exam 2021, you must fulfil the following JAIIB eligibility criteria as laid down by the IIBF.

  • You should be working in the banking and finance industry.
  • The finance or the banking industry where you are working must be an institutional member of the Institute.
  • You should have passed at least your class 12th/or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board.
  • The subordinate staff or recognized banking or financial institution that are members of the IIBF may appear for the JAIIB exam if they are 12th passed.
  • The candidates who have not passed 12th standard or equivalent can appear for the JAIIB Exam for the clerical or supervisory staff cadre of banks only on the recommendation of the Manager of the bank/officer-in-charge of the bank’s office where the candidate is working.

JAIIB No. of Attempts

IIBF has prescribed the number of attempts to appear for the JAIIB Examination as stated below.

  • You are required to pass the JAIIB Exam in 4 consecutive attempts, i.e. within a time period of 2 years.
  • If you fail to pass the JAIIB Exam in four attempts, then you will have to re-enrol yourself afresh. However, you will not be granted credit for the subjects in which you had passed earlier.
  • The time limit of two years will begin from the date of application for the first attempt to appear for the JAIIB Exam.

JAIIB Online Application 2021

The registration process for JAIIB 2021 exam will begin from 24th February for the first phase and from 1st September for the second phase. Follow the steps that are given below to register yourself for the JAIIB 2021 exam.

Step 1: Visit the official site of the  Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, IIBF at www.iibf.org.in or the link that is provided above.

Step 2: The homepage of IIBF will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Examination/Courses’ option on the left side of the screen.

Step 4: Select the ‘Flagship Courses’ out of the options that are available.

Step 5: Select the JAIIB as the exam name so that you can proceed to the next step for registration for JAIIB Exam 2021.

Step 6:  As you click on the link, select the ‘Apply Online’ link and the following screen will be displayed.

Step 7: Fill in all the details such as personal details, educational qualification, work experience.

Step 8: Upload the documents required in the JAIIB 2021 Application form.

Step 9:  Lastly, pay the required application fee for successful registration for the JAIIB Exam 2021.

Step 10: Take a printout of the JAIIB Application form 2021 for further use.

Application Fee for JAIIB 2021

It is mandatory for each candidate who registers for the JAIIB Exam 2021 to pay the JAIIB Registration fee 2021. If you pay the fee beyond the said date, then you will be charged an additional fee as per the dates prescribed by the IIBF.

  • During 1st week of registration: Normal Examination fees
  • During the 2nd week of registration: Normal Examination fees plus Rs 100/-
  • During the 3rd week of registration: Normal Examination fees plus Rs 200/-
  • GST is applicable for JAIIB 2021 Registration as per the government directive.

  • JAIIB Exam will be conducted in only Online mode.

  • The total marks in the JAIIB Exam is 100 marks including the questions based on case studies/ case lets.
  • No negative mark is deducted for an incorrect answer marked by you.

Passing Marks Criteria for JAIIB Exam 2021

The Institute has laid down the following passing marks criteria for JAIIB Exam 2021 as explained below.

  • The minimum passing mark in the JAIIB exam is 50 out of 100 marks.
  • If you secure at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all the subjects in a single attempt, even then you will be declared as having completed the examination.

Class of Pass for JAIIB Exam

IIFB has laid the passing class or division in the JAIIB Exam as per the marks scored by you in the JAIIB Exam 2021. The institute will consider the ‘first physical attempt’ as your first attempt to award you a class. If you re-enrol yourself for the JAIIB Exam, then you will not be considered for awarding class.

  • First Class: If you score 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate and pass in all the subjects in your first attempt.
  • First Class with distinction: If you score more than 70% or more marks in aggregate and 60% or more marks in each subject in your first physical attempt.

JAIIB Admit Card 2021

The admit card for JAIIB Exam 2021 will be made available on the IIBF website which is www.iibf.org.in. You must take a printout of the JAIIB Call Letter, Membership identity card, or any other valid photo ID card in original (Aadhaar card/ e-Aadhaar/ Employer's card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Election voter's card/ Passport, etc.) at the examination venue. Without the JAIIB Admit card and valid ID proof you will not be allowed to take the JAIIB 2021 Examination.

Step to Download JAIIB Admit Card 

Here are the steps to download the JAIIB Hall ticket 2021.

  • Visit the official website of IIBF under the menu ‘Examination/Course>admit card”.
  • Enter your membership number or registration number as the login ID.
  • Click on ‘Edit profile password’.
  • Your admit card for JAIIB Exam will be downloaded.
  • Take a printout of the JAIIB Call letter.

How to retrieve JAIIB Password?

  • If you do not remember your password for JAIIB 2021 exam, then click on the 'Forgot password/ Get Password' button after entering the Membership or Registration number.
  • As you click on the submit button a fresh edit password will be sent to your registered email ID.
  • From there, you can proceed further to retrieve your password for JAIIB 2021 exam.

JAIIB Result 2021

After the completion of the JAIIB Exam, the institute releases the result for the exam on its website. You have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam in the aggregate which is 50 marks out of 100.
