UGC NET Paper 1 is standard for all the subject’s UGC NET exams. Therefore, candidates targeting the NET exam must prepare for Paper 1, which is mandatory for all subjects. Paper 1 is conducted for 50 questions of 2 marks each. Hence, the paper has a good weightage that makes up the final marks.
