Official MH SET Answer Key 2021

The MH SET answer keys for all papers is available on the website http://setexam.unipune.ac.in. on October 18, 2021, after 06.00 pm.  

  • Candidates who are dissatisfied with the answer keys may challenge them (online only through the website's link) for a fee of Rs.1000/-per question.
  • If a candidate's challenge to the answer keys is accepted, the cost will be reimbursed to that applicant.
  • In all other circumstances, the cost will not be reimbursed once it has been paid.
  • The decision of the SET State Agency on the Challenges will be final, and the result will be based on the final answer keys, which will be presented on the website.

Maharastra State Eligibility Test, also known as MH SET/Maha SET/Unipune SET is a state-level exam conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University (University of Pune) to select eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. Assistant Professors selected for the states of Maharashtra and Goa through MH SET 2021 receive monthly pay in the range of Rs. 25,000/- to 40,000/- in the beginning. The salary is dependent on the scores and colleges. Read detailed information about MH SET Salary & Job Profile 2021

  • Academic Grade Pay: Rs. 6000/- per month
  • The above amounts are the expected in-hand salary for a new lecturer.

  • Must have a U.G.C. Recognized Master’s degree in a subject of SET.
  • If you hold a PG degree/diploma/certificate issued by an Indian University or Foreign Institute, you can refer to Indian Universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi (www.aiu.ac.in) to determine its equivalent degree.

Other Criteria for Maharashtra SET 2021

  • Candidates can appear for MH SET 2021 in the subject of their PG courses only. If a PG subject of any applicant is not included in the list of MH SET subjects, they can appear for SET in a related or equivalent subject.
  • As per official rules, the students who have cleared M.Sc. (by Research) are not eligible for MH SET.
  • Candidates who are enrolled in the first year of a two-year master's programme, the first two semesters of a four-year master's programme, or the fourth year of a five-year integrated master's programme are not eligible to take this test.
  • A candidate who has previously qualified for SET in a topic will not be permitted to sit for SET in that subject again.

Candidates from other states (other than Maharashtra and Goa) who fall under reserved categories will be treated as General Category candidates, in accordance with Maharashtra and Goa's reservation policies.

  • Click on 'Apply Now' to register on the website using a valid e-mail I.D and password.
  • The Username & password will be available on your registered email id.
  • Please note the credentials for future purposes too.
  • You can now fill the complete application form and click on 'Submit.
  • Post that, a unique Application Number will be generated.
  • The next step is to upload a Scanned Photo and Signature
  • Size for the photo (Max size:50kb in JPG or JPEG format)
  • Signature (Max size:30kb in JPG or JPEG format).
  • The last step to complete the application form is to make the payment.
  • Candidates may pay using credit/ debit card or Internet Banking.

MH SET Selection Process 2021

The UNIPUNE SET selection process for Assistant Professor in the states of Maharashtra & Goa is a three-step process. Please find the details below:

Step 1: To qualify the examination for Assistant Professor, the applicants are required to score minimum aggregate marks in both Paper I and Paper II.

Step 2: If you meet the eligibility criteria of Step 1, a subject-wise and category-wise merit list will be prepared using the aggregate marks of both papers.

Step 3: As per UGC Rules, only 6% of the applicants appearing for the exam are to declared qualified in MHT-SET 2021. Here, ‘appearing’ means attempted both the papers. As per the reservation rules, the number of qualifying slots is calculated subject-wise and category-wise.

MH SET Admit Card 2021

The Hall ticket or Admit Card for MHT SET 2021 Examination is available for download on the official website from 16 September 2021. Applicants need to enter their Login Id and password to download the MH SET admit card. Please note that Admit cards will not be sent to the applicants by post. You are required to take a printout of your Admit card and must carry it to the exam centre on the day of the examination along with a photo identity such as Adhar Card, PAN card, Voter Id etc.
