Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Centre for Science and Technology conducts the Kerala SET exam to recruit knowledgeable Higher Secondary School Teachers in Kerala. Cleared degree exam in any discipline (from any University in Kerala or recognized as equivalent) with Latin as the second language under Paper II, with at least 50% marks. 

These eligibility criteria hold only if you have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for that Part II.

Kerala SET Age Limit

There is no prescribed age limit to appear for the Kerala SET exam 2023. It means candidates of any age who have the required qualification can appear for the exam. 

Who are not eligible to apply for Kerala SET 2023?

If candidates have obtained their qualifications through non-recognized correspondence courses or open universities in Kerala or elsewhere are not eligible to apply for Kerala SET 2023. And also, candidates who have acquired qualifications through recognized correspondence courses or open universities must obtain and furnish certificates of recognition and equivalency from any of the Universities in Kerala.

Kerala SET 2023 Certificate

All the candidates who are declared qualified in the Kerala SET 2023 will have to produce the qualifying certificates within one year from the date of publication of the Kerala SET Result. 

  • If you apply for the SET certificate beyond one year from the date of release of the result will have to pay Rs. 500 for the next year and an additional Rs. 250 for each subsequent year.
