Kerala SET 2023: The application correction window for the July session of the Kerala SET Exam is now closed. Candidates were allowed to make corrections to their applications from 13 to 15 May 2023. This is a state-level examination conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology on behalf of the Government of Kerala. SET Exam Kerala is a mandatory requirement for appointment as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.

Furthermore, the test is conducted in various subjects such as Humanities, Commerce, Science, Management, & Computer. The Kerala SET is conducted twice a year and the official notification has been released for the upcoming July session.

What is Kerala SET Exam?

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, administers the Kerala State Eligibility Test to applicants seeking positions as non-vocational teachers in VHSE and teachers of higher secondary schools. Candidates who wish to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers in the State must successfully complete the Kerala SET exam. 4 hours were allotted to the candidates to complete the exam which consists of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Because universities in Kerala acknowledge the degree, candidates who have earned a B.Ed. in Hindi from the Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha are exempt from submitting an equivalence certificate.

Latin

Candidates must have earned at least 50% of the possible marks in Paper 2 of the degree exam in any discipline (from any university in Kerala or from an institution recognized as an equivalent).

These eligibility criteria hold only if you have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for Paper 2.
