Primary Memory and Secondary Memory are the two types of main memory. Memory is a place in electronic devices like computers, cell phones, etc. where information is stored for immediate use. Without memory computers, mobiles, and laptops cannot function properly.

  • It is used in calculators and peripheral devices.

  • It stores crucial information that is required to operate the system.

  • There are four types of ROM: MROM, PROM, EPROM, and EEPROM.
