CSIR NET Mathematical Science Exam Analysis 2022 (16 February, Shift 1): The CSIR NET June 2021 Mathematical Science exam is scheduled to be conducted on 16 February 2022. The examination was conducted in Shift 1. The first shift was conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The examination for Earth Science and Physical Science was conducted in shift 2 on 29th January and 15 February 2022. The question paper for CSIR NET Mathematical Science was divided into 3 parts, i.e. Part A, B, and C. Part-A is called the General Aptitude section consisting of 20 questions while Part B & C consists of 40 and 60 questions respectively. This exam was expected to be held in June 2021 but got postponed.

  • A total of 14 questions were asked from the Linear Algebra section, 6 questions in Part B & 8 questions in Part C.
  • The questions of Linear Algebra were taken from the topics, LT-1, matrix and properties, types of matrix, inner product space, quadratic equation, basis and dimension.
