SSC JE Eligibility: Nationality

The candidates must check the national clause in the eligibility criteria of the SSC JE exam. The candidates must satisfy any of the given SSC JE nationality clauses.

  • Either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan refugee came to India before January 1st, 1962 to stay permanently in India.
  • An Indian who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

SSC JE Eligibility 2023: Marital Status

All the candidates must note that the candidates should not have more than one living wife or more than one husband when he/she is already married. Such marriage will be accepted under personal law only.
