UPRVUNL JE Selection Process 2022

UPRVUNL JE Selection Process 2022 must be known by all the candidates who will be appearing for the UPRVUNL Junior Engineer recruitment 2022. The candidates shall be selected through an online test consisting of objective type of questions followed by document verification. UPRVUNL JE Selection Process for Written Exam

The first stage of the selection process for the UPRVUNL Junior Engineer exam is the computer-based test (CBT) or written exam. The candidates who will submit the UPRVUNL JE application form correctly will be issued the admit card to appear for the written exam. 

  • The exam shall be conducted in online mode where all the questions will be objective multiple-choice questions. 
  • Theere will be two parts for the UPRVUNL JE CBT, where the first part will have questions based on the candidate’s educational qualification. 
  • On the other hand, the 2nd part shall have General Hindi, General Knowledge & Reasoning sections and will be compulsory to attempt. 
  • The total duration of the online test is 3 Hours.
  • 0.25 mark will be given for every incorrect answer by you while 1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer.

UPRVUNL JE Document Verification (DV)

After the completion of the written exam, UPRVUNL will declare the UPRVUNL JE Cut Off as per the category of the candidates. The candidates who will score more than the cut off marks will be called to appear for the document verification. During the DV round, the candidate’s documents will be verified by the authorities. 

Documents to Carry for UPRVUNL JE DV 

Given below is a list of important documents that must be carried by all the candidates who will be called to appear for the UPRVUNL JE document verification process. 

  • UPRVUNL JE application form 2022
  • UPRVUNL JE admit card/result
  • DV call letter
  • 10th mark sheet and certificate
  • 12th mark sheet and certificate
  • Graduation mark sheets for all semesters or years
  • Graduation degree
  • Caste certificate 
  • Pan card or Aadhar card
  • Ex Servicemen certificate (if applicable) 
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

Tie Breaking Rule in UPRVUNL JE Exam

If two or more candidates score equal marks in the UPRVUNL JE CBT, then the following criteria will be used to decide the merit of the candidate: 

  • The candidate who scores more marks in the UPRVUNL JE Part 1 paper, i.e. engineering paper will be given the priority
  • If the candidates score equal marks in Paper 1, then the candidates who is older will be given the preference.

UPRVUNL JE Normalization Process

In case, if UPRVUNL JE CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, then the normalization will be applied. And the normalization will be done by using the given formula:

Normalized Score for each candidate (Xn)

Xn=(S2/S1)*(X-Xav)+ Yav

  • S2: Is the Standard Deviation of the shift with the Highest Average Score taken as Base for normalization ( Criteria for choosing the base for normalization is generally taken as the shift with ‘Highest Average’ of raw scores)
  • S1: Standard Deviation for the corresponding shift (to be scaled to S2)
  • X: Raw score of a candidate
  • Xav: Simple average of the Shift
  • Yav: Average corresponding to shift with highest Average (Taken as Base for normalization)

This normalized score will be used for deciding the merit of the candidates.
