The distance will it cover in 10 sec after the start is 200 m.

4m/s2 is the uniform acceleration of a racing car. In 10 sec, the distance it will cover after start is 200 m.

Step 1. Given that,

Time t = 10 sec

Uniform acceleration of the racing car a = 4m/s2

Initial velocity u = 0

Step 2. Formula used:

The phenomenon of motion is when an item shifts positions.

The first motion equation is written as follows:

v = u + at …. (1)

Where

u is the initial velocity

v is the final velocity

a is the acceleration

t is the time

We know that the third equation of motion is given as:

v2 – u2 = 2as …. (2)

Where,

u is the initial velocity

v is the final velocity

s is the displacement

a is the acceleration

Step 3. Calculations:

Substituting all the given values in (1) we get

v = 0 + 4 x 10

v = 40 ms/

Substitute the known parameters in the equation (2) we get

402 = 2 x 4 x s

s = (40 x 40)/ 8 = 200 m

Thus, the distance will cover in 10 sec after the start is 200 m.
