The SI unit of energy is Joule, it is derived by multiplying force by distance. Energy has varied forms such as potential, thermal, kinetic, chemical, and nuclear energy. It can be transmitted from one body to another to numerous ways. The SI unit of energy is credited to be titled after James Prescott Joule.
