UGC NET History Exam Analysis 2021 Key Points
- The paper for both shifts was moderate to difficult level.
- To solve the paper, one must master theoretical plus factual information. Many questions were based on a simple understanding of topics that could easily have been solved. Many one-liner questions were there. Some were way easier, unlike the net level. Some questions were tricky, and elimination tricks had to be applied to solve them.
- The trends of the paper were predictable, and it has been like before. All the trends we predicted were seen in the paper.
- The Paper was lengthy in both shifts due to many long theoretical questions.
- More than 40 plus questions have been directly from our free app/paid sessions ( we are identifying many more once we get to know the correct questions)
- Comprehension questions were easy. Passages were indirect and just served as reference purposes for the period to help you solve factual questions. The questions followed were based on the passage themes, but they were more independent questions and needed a factual understanding of the period and facts.
- Predictably, the percentage of chronology and matching the following questions was high.
- Way forward- proper theoretical plus factual understanding of topics plus regular in our app/paid sessions for holistic coverage for the next examination.
