PhD Eligibility 2022 – Qualification
The applicants must fulfill the below qualification criteria to be considered eligible for the PhD Admissions 2022. These are the minimum qualification that the candidate must fulfill to be eligible for the post. These are the minimum requirements of any School/Centre/Department/ that operates through CRC/SRC/DRC specifies the short-listing criteria than what is being specified here. The table below includes almost all the PhD degrees, however, each CRC/DRC/SRC can easily specify the disciplines and qualifications that are acceptable for admission in their PhD programs offered by them.
The students who are in the final year of their programs and completing all their qualifying degree that is required to fulfill the eligibility criteria before the PhD entrance exams start can also apply for it. In all cases, all admissions will be provisional at first and will get confirmed only after previous records and certificates are completely verified, this process may take some time. Here’s a table provided for the PhD Degree and their Eligibility Criteria-

Age Criteria For PhD Eligibility Criteria In India
There is no age limitation on the PhD Eligibility In India. Applicants of any age fulfilling the qualifications criteria can apply for PhD Admissions. Candidates of any age can do the PhD course in India. If there is any change in PhD age limit we will update it here.
PhD Course Eligibility: Relaxations
Candidates of the reserved category must check the various relaxation they are applicable for. Category-wise relaxation is given below.
- SC/ST/PwD category candidates: The minimum performance in the qualifying degree of M.Tech./M.E./M.D. or equivalent has the relaxation from 60% to 55% which means the candidate will be eligible with the 5.50 CGPA.
- SC/ST/PwD category candidates: The minimum performance in the qualifying degree of M.Sc./MBA/M.A./M.B.B.S. or equivalent is relaxed from 70% to 65% which means CGPA is relaxed to 6.50 CGPA.
- The performance of the qualifying degree will be computed by the clustered performance of all the semesters and years based on the credit or weightage system as per the institution/ board where the degree has been completed from.
