IGSTC Fellowship 2022: The Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC), established by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Government of Germany released an official notification for IGSTC Industrial Fellowships 2022 to invite online applications for availing Industrial Fellowships at IGSTC to encourage young researchers towards applied research. This programme is aimed at encouraging PhD students or researchers in S&T with a good track record and having an aptitude for applied research and technology development. IGSTC Industrial Fellowship 2022: Fellowship Details
The IGSTC industrial fellowship has an aim to encourage PhD students or researchers in the S&T field with a good track record and having an aptitude for applied research and technology development.
The IGSTC Fellowships are offered at two levels:
- PhD Industrial Exposure Fellowship – This fellowship is for those young researchers who have completed one year of their PhD course work in the areas of Science OR Engineering from India and have an age limit of 30 yrs are eligible to apply for Industrial Fellowships IGSTC. The duration of this Fellowship is up to a maximum of six months.
- Post Doctoral Industrial Fellowship – This fellowship, IGSTC 2022 Industrial Fellowships, is for fresh PhDs in the areas of Science OR Engineering and have an age limit of 35 yrs (and within 3 years of completion of PhDs from Indian institutes/universities) are eligible to apply. Talented researchers not holding a permanent position anywhere or having a career break satisfying above age and PhD criteria are also eligible. The duration of the Fellowship is up to a maximum of twelve months.
Applicants are required to identify the industry/industrial research organisation in Germany and have to submit consent letters from the hosting industry in Germany and their mentor or supervisor from India.

Interested and eligible candidates can follow the given steps to apply online for IGSTC Industrial Fellowships 2022.
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGSTC or click here
Step 2: Candidates need to sign up using their name, email, mobile number and password.
Step 3: Login details will be sent to your email id and via text message.
Step 4: Use the application number and password to fill in the mandatory details in the online application form.
Step 5: Submit the complete form by paying the application fee.
Please note, the last date to apply online for the application form is 31st March 2022.
