National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, a ‘Maharatna’ PSU and Government of India Enterprise, works to generate Electricity. NTPC has released a detailed notification for 864 vacancies for EETs with apply online link. The NTPC recruitment through GATE 2022 is for E-1 grade pay. Eligibility Criteria of NTPC Recruitment Through GATE

Candidates with a Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology degree with a minimum of 65% marks per respective University/Institute norms are eligible to apply. SC/ST/PWBD candidates with 55% marks will also be eligible to apply for NTPC Recruitment through GATE 2022. Candidates in their final year/semester are also eligible for recruitment. The prescribed degree identified for the disciplines below can only apply for the post of EET-2022 in the respective branch.

Age Limit

The upper age limit should be 27 years as the last day of application to qualify for NTPC recruitment for EETs.

Application Process of NTPC Recruitment through GATE

Candidates must apply online for NTPC recruitment through GATE 2022 on the official website with their GATE 2022 registration number. In addition, candidates must upload their photographs and signatures during the online application. Check the points below to know more about the application process.

• Candidates must read the instructions carefully and fill out the online application form giving accurate information, including the GATE-2022 registration number. After successful registration, the system will generate a Unique Registration Number. In addition, candidates must keep the printout of the Registration slip, which the system will generate after a successful registration.
• Please ensure that the GATE-2022 registration number mentioned on your GATE scorecard is filled in. The name should also be filled up as appearing in the GATE 2022 scorecard. No request for the change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the application is submitted successfully.
• Payment offline: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee.NTPC will not be responsible if the candidate deposits the fee in the wrong account. Online mode of payment is also accepted.

NTPC Recruitment through GATE 2022: Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews based on the GATE-2022 performance and scorecards. Therefore, candidates need to apply online for the post of EET-2022 after getting their GATE 2022 registration number through the official website. The final merit list will be based on 85% weightage of GATE 2022 marks, 5% General Discussion, and 10%Personal Interview marks.

Selection will be based on the scorecard of GATE-2022, and the candidate will be shortlisted as per the GATE 2022 performance. Shortlisted candidates shall be asked for document verification, and further “Offer of Appointment” will be extended subject to their meeting the advertised eligibility criteria. Only GATE-2022 marks are valid for EET-2022 recruitment.
