BET & GAT-B 2021 Exam Important Points
- BET & GAT-B has been conducted in an Online Mode.
- BET & GAT-B is qualifying in nature.
- Negative marking was there in the exam which was different for each paper.
- In GAT-B, 160 questions have been asked in which a candidate has to attempt 120 questions in 180 minutes to complete the test.
- In BET, 200 questions have been asked in which a candidate has to attempt 100 questions in 180 minutes to complete the test.

BET & GAT-B 2021 Exam Analysis & Review – 14 AUGUST 2021
Regional Centre of Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India has conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test for Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) on 14th August 2021. The GAT-B exam was conducted in the morning shift i.e., 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while BET exam was conducted in the evening shift i.e., 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. The overall exam was Moderate.

GAT-B & BET Exam Analysis 2021: Important Highlights
- The overall level of both the papers was Moderate.
- Section A of both the paper was slightly Hard and most of the questions were analytical questions including mostly questions from Maths, Equation based questions etc.
- Section B of both the paper was Easy to moderate but harder than the exam in 2020. Most of the questions were from Plant Physiology, Molecular Biology, Amino Acids, Ramachandran Plot, RDT, Enzymes and techniques.
- Mathematics content was easy for the ones who have good concepts of Mathematics.
- Questions was not so lenghthy.
- There is no change in the exam pattern of both papers.
