DRDO DIAT Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria for that particular post as per the guidelines. Minimum eligibility criteria for age and qualification are mentioned below.

Age Limit:

The Upper Age Limit should not be exceeding 28 years for JRF and 30 years for the post of SRF. The Age Relaxation is based as per the norms of the DRDO board.

Educational Qualification:

• Juniоr Reseаrсh Fellоw – Mаster degree in Рhysiсs/Eleсtrоniсs Sсienсe/ Аррlied Рhysiсs/Орtiсs/Рhоtоniсs оr equivаlent, First Сlаss with NET/GАTE
• Seniоr Reseаrсh Fellоw – ME/ M.Teсh/M. Рhil in Рhysiсs/Eleсtrоniсs Sсienсe/ Аррlied Рhysiсs/Lаser & Eleсtrо-орtiсs/ Lаser Teсhnоlоgy/ Аррlied Орtiсs/Рhоtоniсs/ Орtо-Eleсtrоniсs аnd Орtiсаl Соmmuniсаtiоn/ Eleсtrоniсs Engg./ Eleсtrоniсs & Соmm. Engg. оr equivаlent First Сlаss with UGС/СSIRNET/GАTE.

DRDO DIAT Recruitment 2021: Salary Scale

The salary scale for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior research fellow (SRF) are mentioned below:

• JRF – Salary Scale will be paid for this post is Rs 31,000 per month. (Consolidated)
• SRF – Salary Scale will be paid for this post is Rs 35,000 per month. (Consolidated)

DRDO DIAT Recruitment 2021: Selection Process:

There will be no exam for the recruitment of these posts of JRF and SRF. The interview will be conducted whether in person or through video conference, will be used to identify a suitable candidate for the post of JRF & SRF. Presence during an interview will not be compensated with a TA/DA. The candidates who will shortlist after the interview will be informed via email. Also, the name of the shortlisted candidates will be posted on the DIAT website, candidates are advised to check the website routinely.
