Bihar Police Constable Syllabus 2022, Exam Pattern & Selection Process

Bihar Police Constable Syllabus 2022:The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) is going to conduct Bihar Police Constable 2022 Exam at various exam centers across the state on 27 February 2022. Interested & Eligible candidates must be wondering about the selection procedure, syllabus & exam pattern. So, below we have shared the detailed selection procedure and the syllabus & exam pattern of the Bihar Police Constable 2022 exam.

Below is the exam pattern of Bihar Police Constable 2022 Exam:

Note:
- The Written Test will be conducted in an offline mode (OMR sheet) & will be a multiple choice objective type.
- This test will consist of 100 questions with a time duration of 2 hours.
- Each question will carry a weight-age of 1 mark.
- Minimum 30% marks will be required to get qualified for the physical test.
- This Exam is of qualifying in nature, no marks will be added to the final merit list.

Bihar Police Constable Selection Process
Bihar Police Constable Selection Process is based on three major tests, which are as follows:
- Written Test
- Physical Efficiency/Measurement Test (PET/PST)
- Medical Test
Physical Standards Test
Physical efficiency test will be based on
Height –
(1) Unreserved (Male)/ Backward Category (Male) – Minimum 165 cms
(2) SBC (Male) – Minimum 162 cms
(3) SC/ST (Male) – Minimum 160 cms
(4) Female of all categories – Minimum 155 cms
Chest (Only for male) –
(1) General/EBC
- Unexpanded – 81 cms
- Expanded – 86 cms
(2) SC/ST/Gorkhas of India
- Unexpanded – 79 cms
- Expanded – 84 cms
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (100 Marks)
This test consists of three different categories with a total of 100 marks, which are as follows:
(1) Race – (50 Marks)
For Males – 1.6 Km
- Race completed within 5 mins. – 50 marks
- Race completed within 5mins. 20sec. – 40 marks
- Race completed within 5mins. 20 sec. to 5mins. 40sec. – 30 marks
- Race completed within 5mins. 40sec. to 6min. – 20 marks
- Time taken more than 6 mins. will be disqualified.
For Females – 1 Km
- Race completed within 4 mins. – 50 marks
- Race completed within 4 mins. 20 sec. – 40 marks
- Race completed within 4 mins. 20 sec. to 4 mins. 40sec. – 30 marks
- Race completed within 4 mins. 40 sec. to 5 min. – 20 marks
- Time taken more than 6 mins. will be disqualified.
(2) High Jump – (25 Marks)
For Males – Minimum 4 feet
- 4 Feet to 4.4 feet – 13 marks
- More than 4.4 feet to 4.4 feet – 17 marks
- More than 4.4 feet to 4.8 feet – 21 marks
- More than 4.8 to 5 feet – 25 marks
- Below 4 feet will be disqualified.
For Females – Minimum 3 feet
- 3 Feet to 3.4 feet – 13 marks
- More than 3.4 feet to 3.8 feet – 17 marks
- More than 3.8 feet to 4 feet – 21 marks
- More than 4 feet – 25 marks
- Below 3 feet will be disqualified.
(3) Shot Put – (25 Marks)
For Males – Throw a 16-pound shot (ball)
Below 16 feet will be disqualified.
- 16 feet to 17 feet – 9 marks
- More than 17 feet to 18 feet – 13 marks
- More than 18 feet to 19 feet – 17 marks
- More than 19 feet to 20 feet – 21 marks
- More than 20 feet – 25 marks
For Females – Throw a 12-pound shot (ball)
Below 10 feet will be disqualified.
- 12 feet to 13 feet – 9 marks
- More than 13 feet to 14 feet – 13 marks
- More than 14 feet to 15 feet – 17 marks
- More than 15 feet to 16 feet – 21 marks
- More than 16 feet – 25 marks
3. Medical Test
Even if you have cleared the above levels of the selection process, it is important to pass the Medical test to get qualified for the Merit List.
Note: If the students got similar marks then the selection will be based on the following factors:
- Age-based – Higher age will be preferred first
- Educational Qualification – the more qualified person will be preferred first.
