  • Only candidates between the ages 21 to 37 years as of August 1, 2022, are eligible for BPSC CDPO positions.
  • Candidates from reserved groups will get age relaxation from the overall age limit.
  • The maximum age limit for OBC and female candidates is 40 years, while the maximum age limit for SC, ST male and female candidates is 42 years.

BPSC CDPO Eligibility Criteria FAQs

  • No, there is no such eligibility limitation as per the Bihar Social Welfare Department. Candidates can sit for the BPSC CDPO exam as many times as they want, provided they meet other BPSC CDPO Eligibility Criteria 2022.

  • The candidates must complete their graduations without any backlogs. Any candidate with a backlog will not be eligible to take up this exam.

  • No, the candidate must be an Indian Citizen. Other country candidates are not eligible. 

  • There would be a total of 2 papers. They are Prelims and Mains. Candidates who clear prelims will be eligible for the mains examination. After the mains exam, the candidate will be called for the final interview round. All candidates who clear all the three stages of the selection process shall make it to the merit list. 

     
  • Any changes to the eligibility criteria depend on the exam conducting board. However, most of the times, eligibility remains the same. They do not change frequently.

     
  • Yes, to prove your age, you need to show/submit at least one Photo Identity such as your Aadhar card, voter Id card, Passport, or driver's license. If you fall under any of the reserved categories, you must also show the category certificate issued either by the state or central government.
