Nobel Prize Winners 2022: Nobel Prize is conferred every year as the most prestigious award given for intellectual achievement in the world. We have come up with the “List of Nobel Prize 2022 winners” for all categories.

  • Swedish geneticist, Svante Paabo has won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Medicine for discoveries on human evolution.
  • This discovery provides understanding of how modern day humans evolved from extinct ancestors.
  • He performed his research in Germany at the University of Munich and at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig.
  • Prize consists of 10 million Swedish crowns ($900,357).

  • The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics to Alain Aspect (France), John F. Clauser (USA) and Anton Zeilinger (Austria).
  • For experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science.
  • John Clauser has developed John Bell’s ideas, Alain Aspect has developed the setup, and Anton Zeilinger, using refined tools and a long series of experiments.

  • The 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to Carolyn Bertozzi (USA), Morton Meldal (Denmark) and Barry Sharpless (USA).
  • For their work on snipping molecules together which is known as click chemistry.
  • Click chemistry is about linking together molecules like those in living cells.
  • This study can explore cells and track biological processes; can be applied in cancer treatment drugs.

  • She becomes the 17th female writer to have won the prize.
  • Prize money for Nobel Prize in Literature is worth 10 million Swedish crowns.

  • While, Ben Bernanke has analyzed the Great Depression of the 1930s.
