The sixteenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) has been concluded with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lifting the cup, after defeating Gujarat Titans. Indian Premier League tournament 2023 was being played from 31st March 2023 to 29th/30th May 2023.

Here are the key highlights of IPL 2023:
- There was a total of 74 matches in the IPL 2023 tournament.
- The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets to win the title for the 5th time.
- Winning team, CSK received a cheque of INR 20 crore, while Gujarat Titans were awarded prize money of INR 12.5 crore.
- IPL 2023 was hosted by India.
- This season of IPL was played in 12 venues across India – Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Dharamshala.
- Sam Curran was the most expensive player of this season, bought by Punjab Kings for ₹18.5 crore.
