The Next Step!
The next step is to repeat the process for squares and cubes. The best way of learning is nothing but practice. Make the boxes in excel sheet take the printout of it and start filling them. Learn squares till 30 and cubes till 20.
Take a printout of it and make sure that you carry it with you for timely revision.
Learn Fractions
Learn all the fractions and their equivalent percentages till 15. Fractions will find application in almost all the topics of quantitative aptitude like Percentages, Profit and Loss, Averages, DI, etc. You should be familiar with the percentages and their corresponding fractions, for instance, 50% is 1/2, 25% is 1/4, 12.5 % is 1/8, 6.25% is 1/16, and so on. Revisit the Ratio and Percentage chapter and make sure you know all these fractions by heart. Data Interpretation questions can’t be solved quickly if you are slow in calculations or don’t know the fractions. It is therefore very important to work on improving your calculations by learning tables, squares, cubes, square roots and fractions. Fill the table below regularly just like the one above and enhance your calculation skills.

What Next After the Basics?
After you are done with the tables, squares, cubes, fractions, etc., the next way should be to move ahead by solving DI questions and that too in a time-bound manner. Make sure you besides speed your work on your accuracy as well as all the examinations follow the concept of negative marking. Maintaining proper speed is no doubt crucial but it will be of no help if you are compromising with your accuracy. Make sure that you attempt questions of the quant section for at least 1-1.5 hours on a regular basis.
Make a habit of using a stopwatch whenever you are solving quantitative aptitude questions. Attempt sectional tests with proper time duration (like 45 minutes, 20 minutes, etc. depending on the exam and its phase) and try to solve as many questions as you can in this time frame.
Try to do most of the calculations mentally. Whenever you are attempting any question, try to calculate it in your mind first. Use pen and paper only when you find it difficult to calculate mentally. Use the above methods unfailingly for 20-25 days and you will yourself see a change in your number of attempts.
