• Educational Qualification: The educational qualification or UPPSC AE is a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline for which you are applying.
• Age Limit: Candidates should have attained at least 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be eligible for the age limit relaxation as per the rules prescribed in the UPPSC AE notification. 
• Marital Status: Male candidates who have more than one wife living and female candidates who have married someone who already has a wife are ineligible to apply for UPPSC AE exam. However, if the Hon’ble Governor has granted an exemption, the constraint may be lifted.

UPPSC AE Selection Process 2023

The UPPSC AE Selection Process comprises a written exam followed by an interview. Complete knowledge of the selection process will help candidates in preparing for each stage well in advance. After passing the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for appearing in the interview.

• The written exam will have 2 Paper, Paper 1 & Paper 2
• Both papers of UPPSC AE will be conducted on the same day.

UPPSC AE Exam Pattern

UPPSC AE Exam Pattern should be well known to all the candidates who are willing to give the exam. It gives them a direction to prepare for the exam. • UPPSC AE Exam will have two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2
• All the questions will be objective multiple-choice questions.
• Paper 1 will have two subjects General Hindi and a core subject paper based on your educational qualification. 
• Paper 2 will also have two subjects, General Studies, and core subject paper 2 based on your educational qualification.
• Both papers will be 375 marks each, thereby, the total paper will be 750 marks. 
• The duration of each UPPSC AE paper, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 is 2 hours 30 minutes.

UPPSC AE Answer Key 2023

UPPSC AE answer key 2023 will be released after the completion of the exam. The commission will release the answer key for the candidates who will appear for the written exam.
